I've decided to do the 100 movies in a year meme:

Rules:
1. I watch 100 movies or more in 2008.

I also watched a great horror movie yesterday called [REC]. It scared the SHIT out of me, which honestly doesn't happen often, but I was so terrified by the end I could hardly bring myself to watch the screen. And I was creeped out for hours afterwards, I had to re-watch "Horton Hears A Who" to calm down *g* So it's definitely recommended.

I am SO jealous of all of you who have already seen The Dark Knight, but I have to stay far away from your posts for fear of being spoiled. We don't get it until the ned of next week, torture!

Now I have to clean my apartment, because I'm having a party tonight... it always feels like a waste to clean before a party, because it'll look like crap in a couple of hours anyways, but I have issues with having people over when it's messy :D Hope you all have a great weekend!

I just watched the first part and eeeeeeee! So much wonderful geeky fun! NPH and Nathan were awesome (as always), and Felicia Day was just so cute.

In other non-news: Joss Whedon is still my master :P

I just watched The Middleman 1x04 and I'm falling more and more in love, this show is such geeky fun! For the first time in forever I feel the need to make wallpapers/graphics but my computer that has photoshop is broken (again!), doh! Oh well, hopefully it'll be fixed in a week or so.

I don't know how many people on my flist actually watch It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, I secretly suspect it's just me but I'm going to ignore that for a second because. OMFG YAY! They just posted a promo music video for season 4 (premieres Sept. 18) and it reminded me of how much I miss the insanity that is this show :D

Hello my pretties, hope everyone is well! I've been very anti-social this week so I haven't been keeping up with the flist, shame on me :/

I finally started to make some progress on the 100 Movies In 2008 meme when I watched like 7 movies in 4 days, out of those I watched I would like to recommend three: "Shelter", "Watching the Detectives" and "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane"



I also managed to fall in love with a new show this week: The Middleman

Must see TV! It's so cute and (purposfully) cheesy and offbeat, it was love at first sight. Plus I am a sucker for popculture references in dialoge, it never ever stops being fun. Go! Watch! It has geeky girls with weapons, what more could you want?

In other non-news: I am broke. So broke. And I don't get paid until Tuesday, woe is me! It's going to be a dull weekend.

Doctor Who reaction post, days late as I was very hungover yesterday :/ Didn't want to ruin the episode with my crappy mood *g*

There is not actual work to be done at my job. None at ALL. It's amazing. Everyday we get done with what we're supposed to do at 11 am, and then we have FIVE hours to kill before we get to go home. Urgh, it's so boring. I'd take being busy over this any day honestly.

Working always remind me of the scene from "Scrubs" when The Janitor says to JD "I don't jump out and scare you. I follow you around all day. I only got about an hour and a half of work around here, and the rest of the time I track you, like an animal. "

Clearly, I need to find someone to stalk. I am so bored I could cry.

But on the plus side my brother is in town and we are going to watch "Prince Caspian" tonight! Yay! I love me some Narnia, even if the first movie had it's flaws.

I am so EXCITED I could die. It looks like so much fun, plz to be coming now-ish instead of soon.

Nathan and NPH in the same project is enough to make my fangirl heart explode, but battling it out as Superhero vs. Supervillain? There are no words to describe this exciting, new, level of awesome.

Aaaand, I'm out! Semifinals watching at a friends house, Go Germany Go! :D ...but the Turkish team has also charmed with their general spirit and attitude so I hope it's a close and exciting game tonight!

Turkey played the better game, the much, much better game to be honest. But at the end of the day Football is about scoring the most goals not playing the best game (although hopefully they more often than not go hand in hand *g*) so Germany won (How awesome is Lahm btw? ) Germany needs to step up their game in the finale though, or they're getting killed by Spain or Russia.

So today is midsummer here (a.k.a. The National Holiday of Drinking Way Too Much And Eating Fish)!

Yay for national holidays which gives you the day of work! The fact that it's not a Christian holiday also makes me happy, there are way too few pagan holidays left :P The only sad part is that it's raining, which sort of ruins my plans of playing Kubb and Football, but I got my vodka, my white wine, my potatoes with pickled herring and my friends. So it's all good, it'll still be a pretty traditional midsummer's eve :)

Randomly: Going to bed last night I was really reminded of why I love this time of years, even with the heat: It just never gets completely dark! The sun sets at 23:20 (11:20 pm) and rises at 02:00 am. Ha! That's about 2 and a half hours of "night" and it's not even dark then. It's the payback for all those dark winter months we have to suffer through.

So Sweden is out of the Euro 2008 after a truly embarrassing game against Russia and I'm still really upset about it (hence me not posting about if before now) - I at leats wanted us to reach the quarter finals *pouts* Oh, well... I'm now cheering for The Netherlands, Croatia and Germany (what a fantastic game against Portugal last night! I was so nervous!)

I'M GETTING NERVOUS!

Only 4 hours left until Sweden's first game, against Greece *bites nails* I'm heading over to a friends house to watch it and the Spain vs. Russia game in about an hour. Can't wait! I've got my "Sweden" t-shirt, my snacks and my Pepsi - So I am good to go :D

I've been obsessively reading articles all day about who will be starting the game, aaaand *drum roll* ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC! Yay! I'm so relieved :)

Of course I've been watching the other games as well, last night's game between France and Rumaina was a snooze fest, but the game between Italy and The Netherlands was awesome! Even more exciting than the Germany v.s Poland game and I was at the edge of my seat for that one. I'm hoping for a great game like that between Sweden and Greece, but I honestly don't know if my heart could take it *g*

I probably won't have time to respond to comments tonight since I'll be away, but I hope you all are well and keep your fingers crossed for us! :D:D:

I was flipping through channels last night after the game and they were airing the first episode of (new) Doctor Who, of courseI had to watch it because it's been ages since I've seen it! I always forget how much I absolutely adored Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor, since I love Ten so much now, but man... Nine was pretty amazing :D And it made me miss Rose like whoa.

- If you are an alien how come you sound like you're from the North?
- Lots of planets have a north!

SO MUCH LOVE.

I really need to buy the DVD boxes, but they're always so freaking expensive :( I might buy season one after the summer though, I feel a need to rewatch :)

One of my best friends called just before kick-off of the first game and I practically hung up on her, heh. The conversation went a little like this:

Me: Can't-talk-watching-football-call-you-later-bye!
Her: Um...

I'd feel bad, but you don't call when I'm watching football! She needs to know that :P
